Janet Wu

Janet Wu is a Bloomberg Anchor/Reporter, based in Boston. She interviews entrepreneurs and investors for all Bloomberg platforms.

Her Op-Eds and essays have been published in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, and the “Norton Sampler of Essays.”

She graduated from Yale with a dual major in Philosophy and Psychology and earned a master’s degree in Journalism and International Affairs at Columbia University.

Janet is on the Board of the Harvard Musical Association and a founding member of SheGives, a philanthropic fund created by women.

She is on the President’s Council for the New England Conservatory of Music and the Advisory Board of Franciscan Children’s Hospital. She also serves on the Board of Advisors for the Max Warburg Courage Curriculum.

She was named the 2015 New England Girl Scouts “Leading Woman of the Year” and delivered a 2016 TEDX Talk on resilience.

She plays the piano and cello and has traveled to 89 countries, 39 of them alone.
