Jasmine Owens,
Non-resident Fellow, The Council on Strategic Risks

Jasmine Owens is a non-resident fellow at the Council on Strategic Risks. She is also second-year master’s candidate in the Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, where she specializes in transparency and confidence-building measures in arms control. She interns at Outrider Foundation. She also is the Social Media Director for WCAPS West Coast and serves on the advisory board for the Nuclear Fusion Project. Additionally, she recently started work as a Graduate Research Assistant for the NTI Grant at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. Jasmine graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019 with a bachelor’s in International Studies and certificates in Environmental Studies and African Studies.
